However, YOU CAN use metal cookware while cooking in high or low mix or the convection settings. **Q: Does this vent our the front/top, or in another direction? I'd like to consider adding it to an RV, but need to know if it requires an external vent.** A: This oven does not need an external vent. We have had it in 2 different RV, and we would not have any other ones.
