I purchased these for potato and onion storage and was so disappointed. The hole seems too small and they don't look like they will hold anything. Then I bought a few onions and figured I'd give one a go and it worked out surprisingly well- might not work for very large ones but great for smaller onions. It's perfect for garlic and hangs on a hook nice and handy. Keeps the shedding skins from decorating your pantry and kitchen too.Then I needed something to put grocery bags in to hang in the bathroom closet... then replaced a plastic ziploc bag I had my clothes pins in... and now I love them!
