They are a massive let down, the jigsaw joints come apart very easily. the density is very low. Surprisingly, the mats deform so quickly, so a point where they are permanently deformed or cut. Each mat is supplied with one 3M double sided pad. These are useless as the mats are not rigid enough and the adhesive pads cannot provide reliable adhesion. I have used gaffer tape to secure the joints and patch the places where the mats have been damaged. If you plan to use these for home gym using equipment, then avoid, the mats will easily get damaged. The surface can be slippery if used with bare foot. not as grippy as you may expect. The only use I can see for these mats, are for light use such as kids play room. The mat is big enough for me to use the mat as I want. The mat has no odour at all and offers great cushioning borders. My baby can roll over and play without any risk of hitting his head on a hard surface or so. I also like the fact that the mat comes with borders, so it can be put together as required and still it looks good. I have about a small area set up in the basement. For some people, there have been issues with them coming apart which I did notice myself. To resolve this, I simply taped the backside of all the pieces with a free double-sided tape came with these mats. It works very well. The mats have held up, and there is no crumbling of the foam.
