But sort of weak fan power. It fits perfectly on my 14 by 10.5 inch laptop and it's very light. It literally works by connecting the usb to usb wire (provided) and clicking it on. There's the blue light that comes on that some people don't seem to like, however, I don't find it impedes vision in any way, in fact it's kind of 'neat'. I haven't had the laptop overheat and switch off on me since using it, and I guess it's because of the cooling factor, but in any case, the fans are still going to help your computer. This thing has 2 large fans and they really are very silent. I was put off by the 'golden' colour originally, thought it might be too garish, but in fact, it's not a striking gold (although that's subjective) and most of it is covered by the laptop anyway. Quality wise, I don't have the knowledge or experience to compare this to other similar devices, but it's seems to be average-good quality. Overall, seems to do the trick and so far, it's still working.FYI: when i bought this product 2 months or so ago, also from nightwish fashion, it was sold for $29, about £20 less than it is today (5th sep, 2015); not sure why they hiked up the price so much. ### ⭐ 1.0 out of 5 stars Did not last 4 months *by H***D on Reviewed in the United States on October 21, 2015* Great size, love the bright color and the blue light.
