## Description

Review: Its great but needs more shades - I'm going to give this 5 stars because i think its a great foundation. I don't like to put too much makeup on my face and this foundation isn't so heavy that I feel like i'm wearing a mask. Its light enough to let your skin show through but heavy enough to cover the imperfections though not completely. Coverage wise i would say this is light to medium coverage. My only regret is that they don't have a wider variety of shades in the Lumi foundation as opposed to the original. I had to get a foundation that i later noticed was too light. i can use it if i put a really thin coat on my face otherwise it just looks wrong to me. I recently invested in some mineral makeup however that matches my face perfectly so there is a lower likelihood of me wearing this foundation again. I do recommend it though, for those who like liquid foundation.

**Q: What would be the best color for Asians. I'm on the lighter spectrum with yellow undertones. Thanks.**
A: It would definitely be W1-2. I bought it and it had too much of a yellowish tone for me. The "W" colors are warm. The neutral like N1-2 is neutral, which works perfect for me, with no pink or yellow undertones. I am extremely pale with freckles.

**Q: Ive used revlon nearly naked foundation ( 180 medium beige) for 3 yrs and now i want to purchase lumi, what shade should i try? thanks for the help!!**
A: I had a confusing time trying to select LUMI for my fair/rosy complexion, where a foundation with the slightest tinge of pink is perfect.  Yellow-tinged pale colors or beige tones are not good on me. Consequently, I purchased two shades, neither of which have the desired almost indistinguishable tinge pink I desire. Having said that, the two shades I finally selected that are most appropriate for fair to light complexions are "Soft Ivory/Classic Ivory" (a perfect fair shade) and also "Creamy Natural" (a warmer light beige shade). Therefore, If I were you, after having read your question, "If" your complexion is light-more-beige rather than fair, I would recommend the "Creamy Natural."  However,  if you are a true fair complexion, then perhaps the more nude/fair shade for you would be "Soft Ivory/Classic Ivory" - it is a very pretty, very fair shade. Good Luck, and enjoy!

**Q: Anyone with acne prone skin has tried this? im having a horrible time finding a good foundation.**
A: I really do not know about acne, I am very lucky to have not acne problems, but the foundation in itself is very liquid and light weight if you apply with a wet sponge gives a nice result, it is not oily and dries fast I think is one of the best foundations I have tried and gives some luminosity no so much just nice, and I love the feeling of not having anything on my face, I recommend it.

A: I am 61 and I really like this product.  I have bought it several times.

So far this is my favorite foundation. I have very dry skin, so this foundating applies easily without clinging on the dry patches. Coverage is not great, I would say sheer/medium. A concealer underneath on problem areas will solve that issue. If I try to add layers, it can get cakey. I don't like the fact that it contains SPF, so its not ideal for flash photography. I feel like there is a white cast in fluorescent light, like in my office. It can look like you have makeup on which is not what I prefer. But it looks very natural outside in the sun, like you are have a good skin day. I like the luminosity, its a gentle dewy shine, doesn't look greasy or shimmery on me. I am yet to find a good drugstore foundation for dry skin that has no SPF in it.
