I will give you the instructions are not very informative, a really bad pictogram. However, once we figured out that you needed to put the poles in one side of the tent and one person hold those up and together while the other person stakes down that side (yes it is a 2 man job to put up this tent) and then do the same on the other side. All adjustments on tightness are made after you have both sides up and the interior messing hung to complete the 2 tents. This was great because it gave an added air flow most tents don't have so you are not in an oven when the sun comes up. The 2 sides that open help with that too. We were able to face one side to the tree line and leave it open all day to keep it relatively cool in the tent when we went in at night to sleep. We used the center section to store a lot of our stuff and the inside of the sleeping areas fit our Queen air mattresses and still had enough room for a twin. Since there is an interior tent with an outer shell you did not have the problem with touching the sides when it rained and getting water in the tent. We had rain at some point every day and everything stayed dry. The only issue I had was the 19 and 11 year old managed to rip the interfere of their side of the tent the minute they got into bed because they were goofing off. Since it is a mesh or mosquito netting kind of fabric when she fell out of bed horsing around with her sister and landed on the wall (she was bigger then the gap between the bed and the wall) it got a small rip in it. ### ⭐ 1.0 out of 5 stars Very Disappointed *by C***U on Reviewed in the United States on August 9, 2016* Very disappointed, we loved the layout for kids to have their own space but out of the box one of the zippers was already broken. During the first weekend of use it rained and the tent leaked leaving our bedding soaked. By the end of the weekend multiple zippers had broken including the bag making it difficult to pack up to take home. First the directions were so poor as to not be worth the paper they were printed on. Within 10 minutes of having the tent set up all zippers were off track and not usable.
