Great for picky cats and multi-cat homes! . Review: Lots of gravy and flavors - My cat has a is a finicky eater. I have spent a fortune on different canned foods and I end up throwing so much of it away because it isn't cheap as we all know. Though she does love Fancy Feast, there simply isn't enough gravy for her tastes. She likes to eat those 3 oz portions right from the can because the gravy accumulates at the top. She will slurp the gravy off the top but won't touch the meat. I throw out about 3 cans a day minus the gravy. Weruva really understood the assignment because I have tried every brand that advertises heaping portions of gravy and this is the first brand that met the challenge. I bought both pouches and 3 oz cans. The pouches have a heavier thick gravy like a bisque. The 3 oz cans have lots of gravy too but it is more of a broth or a juice. She loves both. She is also now more interested in the actual protein in food itself. The cans have at least double the amount of juice, when compared to other popular brands, at the top of the can. The pouches offer a large portion. I was surprised to suddenly hear her enthusiastically gulping her food. The pouches could feed two cats. I had spent a fortune on different foods for my one cat before I found this brand. There are many varieties and some were exotic by our standards because I have not seen lamb, duck or some of these fish species but she not turned her nose at any yet. I was a bit concerned because they have an exotic assortment but all varieties have been a hit. Crossing my finger because I have only gone through 5 flavors and have many to go. Review: My cats’ favorite wet food. - It’s my cats’ favorite. You can see the real meat. I also bought Wellness brand wet food, but my cats don’t like the flavors, although it also have a good ingredient list as Weruva. ## Features - Frisky Fishin’ Friends Variety Pack (5. 5oz cans, Pack of 24) - Our 4 most popular seafood recipes. The consistency of the sauce is thicker than water but not as thick as a heavy stew. The food actually tastes pretty good (yes, I tasted it out of curiosity) even if it is unseasoned. Our little guy loves it. **Q: what is the shelf life for these cans?** A: I haven't reviewed "Grandma's Chicken Soup", just Polynesian BBQ and one of the others. I would guess that the shelf life is typical of canned foods, though. The cases I bought (two different flavors) have "Best By" dates of August 2018. **Q: Has anybody had any luck with their cats losing weight on this? I have a very fat cat who needs to lose weight on grain-free food.** A: Out of all the Weruva flavors, this is my cats favorite. I'm now feeding this, along with some Blue Tastefuls Tuna (and some dry every now and then), to my 23 lb Maine Coon. Like others here, he was placed on a prescription diet for digestive problems and weight loss. He gained 2 lbs on the prescription diet! I believe getting him off the high carb is going to help his weight loss. Talk to a vet about how much to feed each day since it depends on caloric content of the food you're feeding. Total calories vary with each variety of canned food and you can find the total calories per can by checking the label for kcal/can. Ideally, my cat needs to consume 280 calories a day to get to, and maintain, a healthy weight. **Q: does the 5 oz can have a pop-top lid or do i need a can opener?** A: it's a pop top lid. you don't need a can opener for any of their food. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Lots of gravy and flavors *by A***Y on October 25, 2025* My cat has a is a finicky eater. You can see the real meat. I also bought Wellness brand wet food, but my cats don’t like the flavors, although it also have a good ingredient list as Weruva. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Real fish, all parts. The cats eat it enthusiastically. *by C***R on June 15, 2025* Both of my older cats (14 and 15) have become very picky eaters over the years and tend to waste a lot of their food. They both LOVE this stuff. My strategy has been to go to the local Petsmart and buy a few cans of varying brands and types of cat food for them to try. I found the Weruva brand and bought four cans of the Mideast Feast since it was on sale. It been a long time since I've seen them lick their plate clean... I know this stuff is expensive but they're both old enough that I'm just trying to make sure they have as good a life as I can give them. ## Frequently Bought Together - Weruva Classic Cat Food, Variety Pack, Frisky Fishin' Friends Wet Cat Food, 5.5oz Cans (Pack of 24) - Weruva Classic Cat Food, Variety Pack, Paw Lickin' Pals Wet Cat Food, 5.5oz Cans (Pack of 24) - Weruva Cats in The Kitchen, Kitchen Cuties Variety Pack, Wet Cat Food, 6oz Cans (Pack of 24) --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.tn/products/156403213-classic-cat-food-variety-pack-frisky-fishin-friends-wet-cat](https://www.desertcart.tn/products/156403213-classic-cat-food-variety-pack-frisky-fishin-friends-wet-cat) --- *Product available on Desertcart Tunisia* *Store origin: TN* *Last updated: 2026-10-24*
