Badly. It also leaks. It didn't matter how tight I screwed on the lid, water dripped out every time I took a drink.I love the design, and I love this bottle... in theory. Sadly, I think it will end up in my box of donations for someone else to be disappointed by later.EDIT: After seeing my review, the seller reached out to me directly and offered to send me a replacement bottle. This one does NOT LEAK, and I'm so much happier! I'm no longer getting drenched with water each time I take a drink, and maybe because of the proper seal (?), the bottle's only mildly sweaty, which I can definitely deal with.
