Almost clever design.  Drawer holds brushes and canvas boards, but does not do well with paint tubes which slide to bottom when picked up.  The metal drawer dividers are very sharp. Love the wooden structure.  Works well on desk top or stand alone easel.  Arrived with damage to shipping box, but easel was protected well and undamaged.

Beautiful and functional painters easel is a must for the demanding artist or painter.  All hardware and structure are heavy duty and holds steady any panel or print that has been placed on the unit.  Even outside on the lawn, the legs hold steady and the hold downs lock the panel in place even in windy conditions.  Very pleased with item verse cost.
