Review: Wall Mount Works! - This wall mount kit worked as I expected. Easy to install and very good quality.
Review: Nice bracket for mounting phones in unique situations - Overall this is a well constructed bracket for wall mounting a Cisco 8800 series phone on a standard wall plate. I bought one because I had the need to place a phone on a wall mount phone plate that was installed on a surface mount box (as shown in the pictures). The standard Cisco mount is intended for a faceplate that is flush with the wall. The bracket is made of strong metal that matches the phone. I will need to modify the wall plate to allow the bracket to slide down completely. The only flaw I found was with the screws included with the install kit. They are longer than the screws included in the Cisco kits and one of the screw heads broke off when I tried to remove the screw. (Screw comparison in photos.) If I am presented with another location with a surface mount data box I will consider using this bracket again.
