They don't hurt my feet or make them feel "squished" like most other brands do. I now needed to buy a steel toe shoe for work. I was reading some of the other comments and it seemed to lean more to they weren't made well for a work shoe/boot. I looked at Timberland's & other highly rated shoes. I went to a Skechers store and tried these on. I fell in love immediately. They were so comfortable. They have the gel inserts & were not as heavy as I expected for a steel toe boot. I used them on the first day of a new job without breaking them in. My feet never got tired or felt uncomfortable. They are well made & look good! More than few people mentioned they looked great & inquired where I bought them. And the price won't hurt you. I bought them on desertcart for $70 when I had a $150 budget. Money well spent.
