Review: Works fine, instructions not great - This works fine. I see a lot of reviews saying it stops the water. I had this happen at first too. The instructions for to mention to remove the black tab on the filter. Which makes it very difficult for water to go through. One I saw the black tab over the opening, i removed it and have never had an issue since. I have been using this producer for over 2 years and was coming to reorder some new filters and couldn’t believe the negative reviews. So I hope this helps everyone.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works well with the larger reservoir

Update: I recently purchased the larger 2 gallon reservoir water bowl for my dogs. I do not have the same issues with the water not automatically filling the bowl when I use the filter as I did when I was using the one gallon reservoir bowl. Not sure why but if you are buying the bigger one, these filters will work great with it. I’m glad I tried them with my new bowl before giving up on them completely! I would definitely save your money and skip buying this filter as it doesn’t work. When I use this, the water bowl no longer refills as it empties and requires me to shake it for the water to start flowing. Some people have mentioned to take the black flap off the filter but that enables the water to completely bypasses the charcoal filter so you’re not getting filtered water. You’re better off spending your money on a pitcher filter and using water from that to refill the reservoir.
