Tried both ways to color concrete, liquid that goes in with water, and powder that goes in first. Just don't pour powder outside in the wind...color was vibrant and I feel it's easier to mix color this way, its more consistent. It's not very much in package, but it doesn't take that much powder to add color--goes further than you think.

I don't think I used enough of the colorant in my mold mixture. It's a lovely color, and I imagine if used correctly it would be fine. Unfortunately, my heart mold came out stone colored, rather than brownish.Don't be like me. Read your directions twice!! : )
