Additionally, I'm using a display that doesn't work with the standard brightness control for open auto Pro OS. These boards allow me to break out the I2c connection on the HDMI and connect it directly to the pins on the Raspberry Pi so I can control the brightness. If you are planning on doing this I recommend using the 0.5mm as it leads to smaller builds but i had to cut off the other side.
