To begin with this is the second set we have ordered first pink then the purple, both colors are vivid and very eye catching (daughter loves them. They are very strong and the snaps work well. The back is white and slightly pebbled to prevent skin irritation from sweat and allow some air behind it, at least not seal to the skin. It is made of a waterproof vinyl type material and fits our 4 year old with plenty of adjustment to be able to fit a big guy, it is also lotion proof as we put lotion (plain Vaseline hand lotion in our case) on our daughter’s hand each time it goes on.
