Connects automotive tank to standard refrigeration gauges
I have a 30 lb tank of r134a that has the same kind of fitting on it for hooking up a set of automotive refrigerant gauges, but my gauges are for household air conditioning units. So I needed an adapter so I could hook my regular ac gauges up to the tank of r134a. When servicing a refrigerator which has standard refrigeration connectors, this adapter is all I need. Of course I still need my other adapters to connect my gauges to an automobile ac system, but this adapter worked to connect that automotive style fitting on my tank of 134a to my set of gauges. It has a rubber seal inside of it too, so you can just hand tighten it and get a good seal. It seems to be good quality solid brass too.

Perfect adapter, high quality.
The media could not be loaded. This is perfect! Exactly what I needed to convert my 1/2" ACME tank valve to my 1/4" flare connection on my A/C manifold gauges. Seems like a good quality brass material. There is a rubber gasket inside to seal on the ACME fitting. Everything worked flawlessly with no leaks simply with hand tightening.I have read some reviews that say the seal around the ACME fitting leaks, especially if you tighten it down too much with a wrench. I did not have this issue when using this as an adapter for a small refrigerant can and hand tightened it. Nothing leaked and the seal is still fine.

Proper converter for using .25" equiptment on a r134a tank
This part and a r134a valve are that's needed to convert .25" connectors to a r134a tank. The o-ring on the .5" side does see abuse after a few connections and won't seal as well. I have a spare r134a valve I keep this connected to so I don't have to keep changing out the o-ring. Over all good fit and works as advertised.

Great Adapter fits 1/4 hose on the Combo 3,5CFM 1/4HP Air Vacuum Pump HVAC + R134A Kit AC A/C Manifold Gauge Set on ebay!
I brought for automotive and get started recharge my A/C R134a Refrigerant. I have been drive to all local automotive and hardware stores. I can't seen to fit what i needed. I brought Interdynamics DV-134 R-134a Brass Air Conditioning Dispensing Valve (https://amzn.com/B000CO7Q6U), but it was 1/2" Acme threads. Then, i purchased Manifold Gauge Set called, "Combo 3,5CFM 1/4HP Air Vacuum Pump HVAC + R134A Kit AC A/C Manifold Gauge Set", but was 1/4 threads on the hose from ebay link here: [...] Well, i finally found the adapter that fits what i need attach to the Interdynamics DV-134 R-134a Brass Air Conditioning Dispensing Valve and on to the other end of the 1/4 thread blue hose. Perfect fit as shows on the images.. Totally satisfied of my purchase. If anybody have trouble, this will all help you.

Buy this if you're concerned about fittings
If you are planning to recharge your vehicles ac system and think the oil injector, manifold or vacuum pump "might" not fit together, buy this and the female to male opposite fitting as well. That "other people buy this too" under whatever component you're looking at, will probably be populated with this and the other fitting. They are inexpensive and exactly as described.

Effectively connects refrigerant dispensing valve to yellow vacuum hose on manifold gauge.
Works great to connect refrigerant tap valve to yellow hose on the manifold gauge set I purchased from Amazon. The manifold gauge and vacuum pump connected perfectly, allowed me to pump down my system after replacing my compressor, but when I tried to connect the refrigerant can dispensing valve...the thread sizes were wrong and I couldn't install refrigerant. Very frustrated I eventually did a little more research and found this inexpensive adapter. It does the trick. Highly recommend.

The FJC PARTS ROCK !
this FJC 6015 ADAPTER works great with the FJC 6030 CAN TAP. No leaks at all using the Dupont Suva R134A Freon can. If you have a yellow charge hose with the 1/4" SAE female thread (swivel nut on hose end), Then you'll need this adapter as most can taps have the 1/2" ACME male thread. This adapter changes the 1/2" ACME male thread on the can tap to a 1/4" SAE male thread on the adapter. Now you can screw on your yellow charge hose with the 1/4" SAE swivel nut to the adapter.

Pricey, but worth it.
You can certainly buy these cheaper, maybe even for just a buck or two if you're willing to take a chance on the cheapest you can find on certain Chinese websites, but then you'll be waiting a while for delivery and there's no guarantee on the quality. This item turned up on time and is really well built, fits perfectly, seals well with little effort, and looks to be really well made.
