Review: So much better than mixing up powdered henna. - I use henna to dye my nails because it doesn't chip, peel, or smudge. And black is the only color I like on my nails. Ive been mixing up powdered henna hair dye and I saw this and thought I'd give it a shot and maybe be able to skip the mixing step. It was so easy to use because it's already the perfect consistency for painting on nails and it worked great. I got full coverage and don't have to bother with wear and tear because there is none. It looks good by itself, but sometimes I like to put a clear glitter coat on top of it. I'll never go back to mixing powdered henna again. I did try it on my skin because I injured my ring finger and I can't wear my wedding ring but I wanted something there, and it's the next day and it's already kind of messed up but I think that's my fault, I didn't leave it on long enough.
Review: It’s not actually Jagua Gel - Jagua Gel can only be a blackish blue color depending on the skin, while this is a thinner liquid and closer to a gel substance than henna, it shows up more like henna. I got the 3 color pack of black, red, and brown. What you see is the before and after I washed away the dried bits. It stains more of a dark brown than an actual black in bigger areas, unsure if this will get darker in a few days like real jagua gel. It definitely works as a temporary tattoo. I used the red as shading for the black and it seems to have turned out well. As long as you understand the colors that the ink stains your skin, you can still do pretty cool stuff with it. Note: The colors you see that I used are only the black and red. The brown is very light and is much like a light birthmark color on the skin. Black tends to stain dark brown and the red tends to stain like a lighter reddish brown.

**Q: Does this contain PPD?**
A: It does not contain PPD and can be safely used, but it is not recommended to use on the face

**Q: Will this melt? I live in Arizona and I wanted to order but its really hot outside.**
A: I have used this in 90° weather. No issues at that temperature. I think hotter would be fine doesn’t seem to change viscosity with the temperature. Plus it’s only left on your skin long enough to leave the stain and then you wipe the excess off.

**Q: Where do you store this at? Do I need to leave it in the freezer or fridge?**
A: Mine have sat in my make up drawer for a year. Still work well. I don't think they need a special storing, just maybe not extreme temps… Lasts for a few showers, black is the best. Red and brown colors fade fast

**Q: How do you remove this from cloth material?**
A: Hello, clean with alcohol or makeup remover before getting wet. Light colored clothes may still leave stains.

I admit the black and red henna turns out nicely if you use enough, though I’ve gotten some hand cramps trying to push it out of the little tube. The brown henna doesn’t show up at all, regardless of how much is used, how long it stays, etc. I’m very pale so it’s not a problem for colors to show up on me. The stencils are cute and easy to use but again the brown henna doesn’t work and that’s super disappointing.
