## Description

FOR FULL SPECIFICATIONS AND DETAILS, PLEASE REVIEW THE PRODUCT PAGE AT NOOELEC.COM LaNA is a very high performance, wideband LNA module designed for general purpose SDR applications. Each module allows for 3 different power options, but you should only power with one option at any given time! The recommended power input through the SMA output port (for bias-tee capable SDRs like the NESDR SMArTee XTR) is 3V-5V DC. Alternatively, if you don't have a bias-tee capable SDR, you can use the external power options--the microUSB port, or DC barrel connector via the included DC to microUSB adapter. The recommended external power input is 3.3V-5.5V DC. Though there is protection circuitry on LaNA for overvoltage conditions--and voltages of up to 12V DC should still work and will not damage the device--it is not recommended for long-term usage. Each LaNA module has an internal EMI shield to protect the sensitive circuitry from external interference and is fully ESD-protected.

Review: Great LNA for my Applications - Wasn't sure if this would work because I have read some negative reviews but decided to give it a chance. Wow this does an excellent job on the APT and LRPT weather satellites. Also I tried it on the Acars frequencies and it does a good job. I haven't tried it on the UHF bands yet, but I highly recommend this.
Review: Whats the IP3+ figure? - Low noise figure, easy to power via Bias-T. No IP3+ figures have ever been published which leads me to believe it's not that great. Always run some kind of bandpass or other filter in front of this, especially in a busy urban environment that most of us live in. FM broadcast will easily wipe this out. If you're using it with an RTLSDR, set the master gain on the SDR way lower than you would it running bareback. Somewhere in the 20dB level is great in my location. Again, running this LNA with no prefiltering from a wideband antenna WILL cause overload.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ NOOELEC LNA's are terrific
*by P***K on May 10, 2026*

These LNA's are perfect for many receiving problems. I'm using one for ADSB reception. I bought another one for my police scanner with very good results. One caution, don't install them backwards, the 5 volts on the input can damage them. The reliability has been excellent. I had one fail after a nearby lightning strike but that is an extreme test for any electronic device.
