Surprisingly yummy and really useful to have in .
Used it to substitute cream. Made chocolate ice cream. My kids didnt suspect a thing. Read a few reviews regarding it splitting......store it in the fridge so the consistency stays thicker and much easier to whip ! Tastes really nice .

Wonderful for coconut ice-cream
My first whipped coconut ice-cream was amazing! I kept it in the fridge overnight, whipped it for a few min with the mixer and it turned fluffy just like a whipped cream, added sweetener, few drops of vanilla extract and straight to freezer.I loved it so much that I ordered 4 more just to have handy.

First great. Second rotten eggs!!
Purchased two of these. Quite expensive but first tin was great. Second tin upon opening smelled like rotten eggs...which was definitely not the case with the first tin. Whipped it up but the smell was so offputting i have tipped it in the bin. I have ordered again just now to see how the next lot is. Upon receiving i have stored them both the same and was used within a few days of eachother. Such a shame as its too expensive for that.Update: i have bought another 2 and one can just didn't whip no matter how hard i tried. The other can was great just like my very first. All in all this product could be great but it is such a hit and miss its too expensive for that. Maybe if the price was lowered Id be tempted to buy more.

Great for alternative whipping cream
Great product, daughter has many allergies so limited to what she can use, she’s extremely happy with the results she got with this product! Nice thickness and flavour not too strong .. will buy again !

Does not do what it says on the tin!
Just a normal, lumpy tin of coconut milk... not like whipping cream at all. After pulling out of the fridge as per instructions, the coconut was rock hard, I had to dig it out with a spoon, then like normal cans of coconut milk there was the watery part where it separates. After whisking with electric whisk (doing by hand would be impossible) the coconut 'cream' was just lumpy..... tastes the same as any other can of coconut milk..... it is going to be used as part of a curry or something.... it won't whip smooth enough to be put on a cake or used as a dessert. Does not do what it says on the tin!

Not brilliant
One tin whipped but remained grainy/gritty.The other tin split (lumps and water) but probably my fault. The whipped tin was okay, but no use for a hot pudding as it just melts into coconut milk.Looking at a tin of "whipping cream" and a tin of ordinary coconut milk, and the only difference is the whipping cream has a very slightly higher fat content.I'd be interested in what happens if you try whipping an ordinary tin of coconut milk. There is a supermarket brand of coconut cream on the market which comes in a cardboard packet which I've always used as cream to date and I think I'll stick to it, as it's smooth and very thick.Nothing really wrong with this - just not brilliant and doesn't come out as a thick, smooth cream, just a thickish, gritty cream. You'd have to look at pricing and effort and make your own mind up.
