Sewn seams with bias tape for strength and tear resistance. Good quality material and pleasing appearance. Two of mine now keep dust off printers and one keeps it off a disc duplicator tower. They look good in my office and will soon be joined by others to cover other stuff under dust bunny attack. If you have an uncovered computer, or printer, or anything else look into the cracks and crevices. Even if you dust frequently, it builds up where you do not need it. I think of these covers as cost cutting maintenance. They come in a variety of sizes one of which is bound to fit any device in the office.

**Q: Can the computer be used while the cover is on?  Any worries about overheating?**
A: These are made specifically for when the computer has been shut down - otherwise you will overheat the computer. I believe there is a company who makes paper covers for industrial settings (wood shops, etc) but I haven't found any on Amazon for use while the computer is on.Also please note that these plastic covers are excellent except they DON'T cover the back of the computer. I ended up buying two and then cutting them so it covers the whole computer and so far I am happy with that.

**Q: does this cover fit the Epson ET 4700 printer?**
A: No

**Q: Are these covers washable? If so, how best to do it?**
A: I've had mine for years now, never washed it, I dust it off now and then, and it looks like new, after all these years it shows no signs of wear or tear, very durable for my situation. I might add I have a APC power backup sitting beside it, and it is large enough to covers both. Covers both Desktop and APC.

First of all let me say that I am very sorry it took me so long to respond (been sick). For the record I had purchased three(3), of them and one came as the wrong size. I notified them about the wrong size next thing I knew I received the proper size one without an issue. I am a gamer so its very important for me to keep my systems clean and free from dust. And thats just what they do keep your PC(s) clean and free from dust. And they are so easy to clean just use a static free micro cloth from time to time and you are good to go..
