Review: A must have if you’re not mobile for a stretch - I tore my Achilles and am currently sleeping on our oversized couch. I’m non-weight bearing for two weeks after surgery, so it’s risky getting up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom. So I purchased this, and it’s been a lifesaver. I drink a lot of water, especially on the pain meds so I have to pee a couple times a night. This is super convenient to have to on in and has a glow in the dark lid, so it’s easy to see, and seals to avoid messy spills. Not a sexy product, but probably most important review I’ve done! This thing has saved me during this surgery!

**Q: Can a man in his 90's use this fairly easily?**
A: I don't see how age would matter. It's pretty basic...as long as he can unscrew the top and get it to where it has to be, I don't see an issue with an elderly man using this at all.

**Q: Do you make a screw on adapter for females?**
A: I never saw that it does...probably have to order a specific model for females....

**Q: Can you send me 2 more lids please?**
A: I don't know - the lid we have is fine

**Q: Does it work while laying down?**
A: Yes, that's exactly how it's supposed to be used after a person has surgery and can't get up to use the restroom.  You roll on your side and insert your penis into the opening being careful to keep the opening raised above the rest of the urinal so that it doesn't spill.  Usually it can be used several times before it becomes too full to prevent spillage.  The neck and lid have large threads to make it easy to put on the lid and it's very secure.  The urinal is designed to hang on a hospital bedrail but it also works on many/most normal bedrails.  I shift the mattress over a bit to create room for the handle to slide over the bedrail easily.

I’m a Caregiver for my veteran father with bladder cancer. I have tried several types of urinals for him. These are the best that he has used. The lids screw on tightly to prevent smell and leakage. The glow in the dark lid helps immensely at night. He appreciates that the lid has a ring around the neck to keep the lid close. He has neuropathy in his hands and does not have a lot of strength. These are very easy for him to use. I have bought several multi packs of this brand and will continue to do so. I change them out once a week for him. I’m sure they could be used longer before you change them out. But that’s just my preference.
