The door cannot be pushed open. **Q: will this work on a fire door?** A: If you get the right type size of lock,measure bolt size of door,yes this will fit a fire door... ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Sturdy, stable and still pretty light. *by J***N on 20 May 2023* It is very good at what it does,doesn't weigh a lot and shows no indication of breaking just yet.I would suggest that would-be buyers ensure it can fit in your door frame before you purchase as it does require space to fit and the door handle lock, from what I've seen, is intended to fit through the gap in the metal part. Provided it fits your door it will lock your door but if it doesn't I might suggest looking elsewhere. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Rock Solid *by M***N on 12 December 2019* Didn't fit any doors in our house but that's not what it was bought for.
