Way better than Ong Bak 2; this had more character depth and was much easier to understand (yes w/subtitles) story wise. Keep in mind this story was set in a different time period, so if you don't like it, tough, his looks and actions goes with the time it was being held. Anyway, the fight scenes are killer and as much as I want to say more, you have to watch it to understand it. Tony Jaa delivers another stunning performence, as he takes on the role of Tien. Some of the most realistic and crazy, insane martial arts I have ever seen in a movie. The only downside is the story isn't as straight forward as the 1st movie. The dvd comes with an alternate ending and a preview for Ong Bak 3.
