We didn't take any bags or back packs with us so my nice DSLR camera got soaked. When we returned I Googled DSLR bags and came across this. This is exactly what I was looking for. You can still carry it over your shoulder and if you get caught in a downpour your camera will be protected. Were headed to Yellowstone this year so I wanted to be prepared. My intentions are not to take pictures with the camera in the bag as I believe this would be pretty difficult but to just use it for protection from the rain. ### ⭐⭐⭐ I DID NOT take the camera underwater in this bag and I do not recommend that you do either *by S***M on January 31, 2018* I got this for my vacation. I DID NOT take the camera underwater in this bag and I do not recommend that you do either! It was however perfect for keeping my camera safe from water exposure while in rainy/snowy environments, on and off wet boat landings, on a boat, and just general wetness. It lasted exactly the length of my vacation: two weeks; then it tore at the bottom. The straps that come with it also broke within the first few days, so I would not rely on those. I was not able to take photos very easily while the camera was in the bag. The description shold be: travel waterproof storage bag for short term use. And at the price it is really a highly refined ziploc bag. It is currently described to be so much more than it is capable of. But it was perfect for my use ### ⭐ Destroyed after first use. *by K***B on March 10, 2020* I needed a case primarily to keep splash or drips off my camera while kayaking. This product was too small and my camera fit tightly. The seal was so tight that when I applied max pressure to open it, the plastic tore at the seam completely destroying the water-tight capability. It continued to tear along the seam until it was worthless. Threw it away after the first use.
