The part that fit into the CD slot (yes, my car is that old) was very curved, I assume to make it fit more securely. I had to flatten it by hand to get it to fit into the slot. The "push-to-secure" function that holds the phone works well. I dinged it 1/2 star because in my bouncy car on my crappy roads, it vibrates enough to be annoying. OK for basic navigation but if you need to read a street name or such it can be difficult. I dinged a second 1/2 start because Amazon sent one with a big sticker on the box thanking me for saving landfill space by buying an "Amazon refurbished product", even though the listing did not mention that it was refurbished (nor does the "Buy It Again).
