I paid the full 20 bucks for them unlike many reviewers, so here's my honest opinion: they're great.I really wanted something similar to the ENO atlas straps, and these are a very similar design for much cheaper. They come in a small cinch bag all wrapped up. I sometimes wrap mine after use but sometimes just stuff them in and they fit either way. The bag or the straps alone fit in with my hammock in its stuff sack, although my hammock has a slightly bigger bag than some.The straps are very easy to set up (if you'd like to see how they work, look up a tutorial for the ENO atlas straps) and they feel secure. So far I have not experienced any stretching. I believe I would feel very comfortable using them overnight or on a camping trip and if/when I do I'll update with how they perform.The straps are at least an inch wide. I would not recommend using these straps with a hammock with S hooks because they could definitely slide off. Nautical grade caribiners or some other secure attachment are the way to go.One complaint is I do wish the seller would say what they are made of and use more detailed photos. Also, if you're a lightweight backpacker these are definitely not an ultralight method for hanging. The straps are easy, but thick and kind of heavy.Overall I'm VERY pleased with these hammock straps. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Over view of how Straps are made with photos *by D***N on Reviewed in the United States on September 4, 2015* I bought these hammock straps as reviews said they would not stretch and I didn't want to take chances. I have not tried them out yet, but they look and feel sturdy. They weigh a bit (wish I could say exactly how much) but I don't mind packing them as I expect them to be useful for many things as they have loops from a little less than half way (can hang other stuff off the loops). The synthetic black bag they come in is thin but sturdy material, sown on one side and bottom. The straps have no metal loops (see photo) but one large loop at tree end for looping through after looping around the tree. The loops to attach the hammock look heavily sown. All red stitching looks as if it is simply to add reinforcement strength. Loops are sown onto the main strap with much reinforcement stitching. Looking forward to trying them out soon. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great Straps *by S***D on Reviewed in the United States on October 11, 2015* Excellent Straps, they are very strong, easy to use, and hold my weight quite well. The only reason I don't give them 5 stars is because the straps could be a little longer, and because instructions weren't included. That being said, very simple to use and figure out, excellent quality, and the length is more than adequate for most forested areas. If you plan on hanging your hammock on a redwood, however, you'll need some longer straps. However, so far I've been able to hang my hammock everywhere I've tried to.
