Don't use water for dilution, in one of YouTube tutorials, clear Gesso has been suggested, for beginners. But it is too expensive. So instead I used thick eye drops (expired ones, as I m an ophthalmologist) I found it very useful in comparison of water. Demerits 1. Yellow colour is little bit transparent, need 2-3 coats for hiding numbers. 2. In picture 14 number colour is purple but in my set it was dark blue. Shown with arrows. The paint brushes were good enough and paint though looks less but Is more than required (half of it is still left) Just one advice, while washing the brush to apply other color, dry it with a cloth or napkin else the water will dilute the color and the numbers would be visible.
