Is the product include manual? Do you need an installation program to use this product?** A: I don't think it is 220v acceptable, just plugs in gfci outlet and runs. We used it for a short time since it is smaller than expected and fills Up quickly. Our pond is about 16 ft by 11 ft surface area. **Q: How long is the power cord?** A: I think about 15 ft...... It would have been nice to of been a little longer. But I can tell you this skimmer is working very well for us. We built this pretty good size pond/waterfall and wanted something to help with keeping debris under control. The directions to put together leave a lot to your imagination. But by using a little common sense and old school know how my husband (77 yrs) and I (74 yrs) got it together. Read a lot of reviews .... we did put 1 small rock to help with keeping it down in water. I also zip tied 4 small water bottle evenly along cord to help skimmer be more maneuverable back and forth in water. Some reviews said to weight the cord to bottom but I found that just hindered the skimmer from circulating around our pond . I also found it best to attach the cord with tie to the float opposite the skimmer flap. I guess there are lots of different ideas to make it work right but this worked best for us and we tried every thing others had said to do. We are very happy with this skimmer and like I said with a little bit of altering things it circulates back and forth pretty well and works great picking up debris. **Q: How does this work with oxygen bubbles? We have koi in our pond so we supply air through a small hose attached to the bubbler that sits at the bottom.** A: When this skimmer runs the aeration is exceptional. The bubbles are not as fine as an airstone on a dedicated air pump, but the air volume produced by this unit is more than adequate. I run mine on a timer 15 minutes on and 2 hours off. It is important to remove accumulation of skimmings and rinse filter regularly as it works so well it can easily be overwhelmed if there is a lot of surface debris. The skimmer is excellent and I have removed all dedicated air pumps from my system. **Q: Does anyone know where to get a replacement aerator nozzle for thie (that little dual exhaust looking piece that snaps onto the bottom)? Installation is simple as long as you read the instructions and follow them. Very easy to snap parts that are not assembled on to the unit and within 5 minutes having it skimming away in your pond. You have to have patience to make sure the ballasts are full so it keeps skimming. Maybe that’s not the right way to say it but I think you might understand. Again, reading directions is important for this item. I would order this again in a heartbeat and should have done so last year to keep debris from getting waterlogged and ending up as sludge on the pond bottom. I have a small (maybe 6x8x4) pond- this is perfect to use instead of tearing the pond apart to install a regular skimmer. My pond was DIY - with basic knowledge of fish care and plumbing. It’s nothing fancy but it has evolved over the years to the point a skimmer is a necessity. It has only been running a few hours. I fully expect it to need frequent cleaning in the first few days of use.
