It came with two batteries, so now I have a total of 4 to rotate when they are drained. I haven’t tested the life of fully charged batteries but will answer questions later as I get to use them. The charger is a usb power supplied unit so don’t expect it to charge your batteries in 2 hours like the full plug in type at 120 volts. It’s good to plug it into your vehicle usb while you’re driving somewhere, but the cable that comes with it is kinda short. It is a common cable so you can get a longer one if needed easily. There are lights that tell you if they are changing and go green when changing is done. It’s very compact so you can throw it in your camera bag/case without volume issues, and because it’s usb it’s good for traveling overseas in your hotel or laptop.
