Most jackets leave trousers open to the elements. I've tried overtrousers but they are designed for people eleven feet tall and I am short. I needed something waterproof and a lot longer than a jacket so I thought I'd give these a go. (You get two!). They are superb! Waterproof and lightweight they do the job. Initially I thought they were a tad flimsy but I've worn them in the torrential rain of late and they fit the bill. Light enough to roll up and keep in the door pocket of the car they are always ready. Roomy enough to wear over a jacket too. Honestly it’s very good because the fabric on it is fantastic. You are kept very dry and it doesn’t stick to your body when the coat is wet. Also it drys out really quickly so you don’t have to worry about carrying a wet coat with you everywhere.
