Do note that it's not a magical oil that will make your beard grow overnight, it rather supports the growth of existing hair. And it does make it real smooth, you can feel it while combing the beard after applying the oil. And since there is a dedicated oil for the beard, you don't have to worry using the shampoo on beard and loosing all the moisture.
