I initially left an unkind feedback for the seller, and an hour later the manufacturer called me to make sure I was taken care of. The seller was better than 5-stars when I was done speaking with him, but I still had a shoe horn I couldn't use (the guy I bought it for went back home).So...the natural thing to do is use the shoe horn myself or wait until my friend comes to visit again. I chose to keep it for myself and try out a shoe horn.I LOVE IT! I never realized that it was that big of a deal, but I'm hooked!
