Product Description B-17G Flying Fortress From the Manufacturer Developed in the 1930s for the United States Army Air Corps, the four-engine B-17 Flying Fortress heavy bomber was often equipped with up to 13 .50-caliber machine guns at once. Distinguishing features of the "G" variant - the final version - included a Bendix remotely-operated chin turret and revised, remotely-operated tail gun turrets. An estimated 8,680 "G" aircraft were produced and many were converted for other uses, including troop transports and recon aircraft.

A: Most interior is not that visible through the windows so interior decorating is not that needed, but if you want to you can.

**Q: What are the wingspan dimensions?**
A: 44cm/ 17.5"

**Q: Do i need to buy paint for this model?**
A: Model required assembly and painting, glue and paints are not included.

**Q: should i get this 1:72 scale one or the 1:48 scale one.**
A: I cannot answer this question because it asks something that cannot be answered!!!
Obviously the bigger model will have more detail and naturally you end up with a larger finished product.  All my 55 models have been 1:72 scale, but I have a 1:32 model of my favourite aircraft a P51D Mustang to build sometime.  It was a gift...
