Review: This stuff is FANTASTIC - I have used one other brand of hair mask before that I would keep on for 10+ minutes to set and would achieve these same results. I liked it, but it was twice as much so I thought I’d try this and see how I liked it. I’m quite impressed by this stuff though! I used to Irish Copper colour. First of all, I feel like I barely used any of the bottle at all. I’ll probably have another 5 or 6 uses out of this bottle. The other brand I used was a larger bottle but it only lasted 3 times (the first being 2 days in a row because I apparently had to use A LOT for it to work properly and doing it two days in a row finally got the results I was hoping to achieve). Secondly, I kept this on only for 5 minutes and, when the alarm went off, looked at my hair and was like oooh yeh it’s DEFINITELY done. The other took 10-12 minutes with the same results. I may need a shorter setting time in the future because this is still quite an intense colour, but sooo beautiful. It doesn’t need to be this intense though. I look forward to being able to play with the setting time. This stuff is quite effective. I started with the ends of my hair first, then moved towards my scalp. It always seems that my ends fade faster so I just thought I’d try it this way and see what happened. I’m glad I did because there’s no difference between the ends of my hair and what’s at my scalp like I’d naturally see when my hair is coloured. I’m very happy with how it turned out. Even the other stuff I used rendered different shades from the top of my head to the ends, but I started with my scalp with that stuff too and that was probably the issue. The smell. Let’s talk about the smell. So, any hair dye usually has a very pungent smell. It’s unavoidable. However, this has a “powder fresh” smell to me… like baby powder or baby wipes. That said, it’s an INTENSE smell of baby powder/baby wipes. At first, I was like ah yeh I like this vs the other stuff I’ve used. By the end of application, it was a bit nauseating. Still more pleasant than the other stuff though! Now that my hair is done and dried, I love the smell of my hair! It just smells “fresh.” Like a gentile soap. Additionally, my hair is SOFT! I have thick, naturally curly hair. It’s both coarse and fine. I generally use African American products on my hair because they work best (my hair is naturally a dark, almost black, ash brown but has been ginger for a couple decades now). “Soft” is NOT a word I would typically use to describe my hair. But it definitely feels soft after using this! That said, I was NOT able to easily run my brush through my hair after I washed this out like I can when I use regular conditioner (I use Nexxus for coloured hair). It didn’t take any great effort as though I hadn’t used any conditioner at all, but the brush did stop on its own due to tangles and I’d have to brush it in sections, especially towards the bottom. Now that it’s dry, though, it does feel well moisturised. I’m quite happy with that. I will update in about a week to review on how long this colour seems to last. For comparison, I am uploading a photo from 2 days ago and also tonight. The photo from two days ago is me with my hair straight. That photo was taken 13 days after colouring my hair (Schwarzkopf 8-77 with 30 toner). The photo with me in yellow, my hair curly (natural) is the same day (today) that I used this product. I didn't use it very long because I was afraid of how intense the colour would turn out... so I'd guess probably around 2 minutes max. Edit: 26 December 2025 - This is forever going to be the only stuff I use! I typically only use this ONCE between colourings (which is every 4-6 weeks). To be honest, I don’t even think I’d be colouring my hair as often if it wasn’t for how quickly my roots grow out! By the time I’m ready to colour again, my hair is still so vibrant when it used to be more like a strawberry blonde or even just a brassy blonde. I’ve since cut my hair (for the first time in a decade) and now one bottle of this stuff lasts ages. I still have a little more than half the bottle left and haven’t bought a new bottle for about 4 months now. Granted this is only my second bottle, if that tells you how little you need and how long it lasts vs how vibrant it is. I have now found my magic number is 2 and a half minutes. I could probably even manage less. It’s 2.5 minutes AFTER I’ve put it all in. I’ve found using latex gloves speeds up the application process, and I do it on wet freshly washed hair when I’m still in the shower. It’s also great for keeping your hands from being dyed. And I just keep the gloves on a shelf in the shower for whenever I’m in the mood to deposit a little more colour. But don't be like some of these silly people out there and think that DYE won't stain your hands! lol I used a different brand of dye so my hair looks darker than usual in the pic (orange/blue plaid) and was probably the 2nd day of using clarifying shampoo to tone the orange a bit. Wasn't a fan of the dye, but this mask helped brighten it up. Love this stuff!! Edit: 7 May 2026 - I decided to try a couple more brands. I've now used 4 brands of copper masks/glosses. I do like the Overtone golden copper a lot, but I'm still also a big fan of this naissant Irish copper and am buying another bottle today (my 4th now). I think I'll keep both around and keep testing them both back and forth. Adding a couple more photos for comparison to help if you're struggling to decide which brand to get (in red plaid with overtone day 2 - it rinses out very quickly, and around a week of fade of naissant, using nexxus conditioner daily, long curly and in blue - and just to show you the dpHUE, which is darker and more of a red tone in yellow plaid). I still recommend this one and, just remember, the longer you leave on, the more intense and vibrant (orange) the color is! I typically leave mine in for 2.5 to 5 minutes on wet hair (naissant) but it can be very intense so I'll typically use a clarifying shampoo on it same or next day if I don't get it rinsed out in under 3 and a half minutes or before I finish showering.
Review: My new I cannot live without!!! - I bought the Pearl Blonde and Silver Ash. I use them both to maintain a Beige slightly ash under tone. These are by far the best toning conditioners/masks I’ve used. They are very pigmented and will turn your hair purple/blueish if left on too long. I’m between a level 7-9 (more 7-8 underneath and 8-9 on top) I use the silver ash under neath and the pearl blonde on top. I left them on for a few minutes, since I don’t consider my hair very porous and it’s quite stubborn with color, but they turned my hair purple/silver. No big deal, I washed with Ion clarifying shampoo twice quick and the over pigment came out and the tone came out perfect. Next time I used them, I left them on for 30 seconds to 1 minute. I found my happy spot. I use them 2-3x a week, depending on how bold of a color boost I’m in the mood for. These are so easy to play with, if you over do it just use a clarifying shampoo, if you under do it just redo quick. No need to get out of the shower and towel dry your hair, put the mask on, wait and wait, then shower again, etc etc. They also make my hair feel so conditioned and soft. I don’t heat style my hair very often and I’ve only highlighted/bleached a few times within the past few years so I’m not sure about how they help with more damaged hair, and I use other deep conditioners for that. They don’t have a bad smell, rather pleasant but not over powering. I no longer feel the need to tone my hair every 3-4 weeks, saving my hair from any damage, saving $, and saving me the hassle. Please, please never ever discontinue these!!! Pictures are all after. No before pictures but my hair fades to a natural yellowish/brassy/honey like blonde.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Who is Naissant Silver Ash for?**
A: Silver Ash is the blue toner of the range for darker blonde, bronde and lightened brunette hair where brass turns orange or copper. Blue pigments cancel that warmth for a cooler, ash-toned result, with HA, biotin and collagen for softness and shine.

**Q: How is Silver Ash different from the purple toners?**
A: It comes down to your brass. Light blonde goes yellow, corrected by violet (P. Blonde, Icy Cool). Darker blonde and bronde go orange or copper — corrected by blue, which is Silver Ash. Same care and system; the pigment is just matched to your warmth.

**Q: What's the difference between the shampoo and the mask?**
A: Always use them together, that's the system. The pH 6–7 shampoo cleanses and predeposits blue to prime hair; the pH 3.5–5.5 mask brings richer blue-ash to deepen correction, smooth the cuticle and seal tone. The most even, cool result comes from both

**Q: How often should I use it — will it dry my hair?**
A: A toning shampoo cleanses deeply and can feel slightly drying — that's why Silver Ash is a system. Always follow it with the mask: low pH, hyaluronic acid and panthenol re-hydrate, smooth and seal. Used 2–3× a week, hair feels soft, not stripped.

**Q: Will it turn my hair grey or blue?**
A: Blue is a strong, fast-grabbing pigment — follow the timing on pack. Used as directed it neutralizes orange for a clean, cool ash, not a grey or blue cast. On very light or porous hair, start with a shorter mask time and build up gradually.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ This stuff is FANTASTIC

I have used one other brand of hair mask before that I would keep on for 10+ minutes to set and would achieve these same results. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ My Experience with Naissant Blond Pearl
*by L***A on July 11, 2026*

I’ve been using the Naissant Blond Pearl Shampoo, and I’m honestly impressed with the results. It helps neutralize yellow and brassy tones while leaving my blonde hair looking brighter and shinier. My hair feels soft, clean, and much healthier after every wash. I also love that it doesn’t leave my hair feeling dry like some purple shampoos do. If you have blonde, highlighted, or bleached hair and want to keep your color fresh, I definitely recommend giving this shampoo a try! It is formulated to tone unwanted warm hues while helping maintain softness and shine. (Naissant)
