I also ordered another pirate outfit as I couldn't decide between the two. I have decided to keep the other outfit and return this one but mainly because the other outfit matches the outfit I bought for my husband. However, this costume is very nice, much nicer than I expected! It is a one piece dress and very pretty. The blouse part covering the shoulders and arms is see through lace and can be worn on the shoulder or pulled down on the arms. If you were to wear a bra with it the straps would show but white straps may not be as obvious.I typically wear a size 12 so I ordered the large and it fits well. The length is appropriate and not too short. The material is thin but for a costume, I think it is good quality. The bodice is made with a velvet type of material.This is a very cute costume and would look very nice with sexy boots. I feel it is very good quality for the price. It was a good fit, the corset is truly adjustable, it's really cute, I got a ton of compliments, but don't forget about the accessories or you could look like a wench instead of a pirate. I am definitely going to be wearing this to RennFest next year, and the year after and the year after lol... One thing I did notice though was that there was a tiny tear in the fabric on the corset- I think I did it by accident, but it seems like it might be a bit thin? But I'm not sure. I really liked it though.
