If the taste isn't good I would suggest maple syrup or sugar.The grittiness is less noticeable in milk which can suspend the particles. In water they tend to drop and form a little pile at the bottom. As long as you don't stir up the bottom and stop drinking when you see the colour go darker you'll never have issue with the grit.As for taste it's warm and spicy, but not in any way hot. It's a mild profile. As mentioned it's very nice sweetened.I have IBD and joint pain. Since taking this supplement I've noticed a reduction in joint pain and stomach issues. I take one cup per day. My skin also appears to have improved noticeably. It's less dry, but also less prone to bouts of oiliness.If you have any inflammatory condition I'd recommend trying this. If you want a nice warm winter drink then I would also recommend it as golden milk is delicious.The collagen has no noticeable effect on the flavour profile. I usually have collagen mixed into my morning coffee, and decided to order this instead of turmeric latte mix plus my collagen order. It's really delicious - I just mix a bit into hot water , then add warmed almond milk. Like any turmeric latte there's a bit of grit left at the bottom so I just add boiling water when I'm done to make sure I get it all.
