Review: This is awesome and all your friends will want one! - I bought this because I was remodeling a house and staying there on the weekends. I had no other furniture except an airmatress. Needless to say this was USED! I also have a 110# German Shepherd and this was his favorite place to sleep. His toe nails are long. He will not allow cutting. This thing held up way better than expected! He did puncture it 1x in 2 years. That's not this couches fault. I put some glue on it and a few hours later it's good as new. As an FYI, it does let out some air from being sat on over time. U will need to blow it back up occasionally. I wish it had a built in airpump, because I'm lazy, but it's worth every penny! It's easy to use, comfortable and looks awesome, but a pain to take all the air out without a built in pump.

It's definitely comfortable for one person, but two people might be short on room to move around. My only complaint is that it developed a hole after one weekend of use. I don't know how it happened so it could've been negligence on my group's part, it's hard to say. I wish there were a manufacturer's warranty to help safeguard against possible defects. For the one weekend I was able to use it, it held air fairly well and took air from two different pumps without issue. I would consider buying it again.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Has anyone gotten any successful long term use out of this chair?**
A: No. I've had three and what I found was that Intex puts a planned flaw in the cup holder. The seam is badly fused and is the first to leak. It is very hard to repair. I am experimenting with different patching methods bcs despite the flaws, I like the chair, and need inflatables for my tiny apt.
The sofa has a design flaw in the valve. So far I haven't had a problem with the cup holder. but using the chair way more, that's where I found the problem with both styles of chair.

**Q: Are this have the air pump include**
A: No

**Q: Is the chair good to take on the beach?**
A: It may be able to survive being on the beach but it does not seem suitable for that to me.  You wouldn’t want to carry it inflated to the beach because it’s not easy to swing over your shoulder that way so you’d have to have an electric pump to inflate and deflate it on the beach. Even so I think you would never get all the sand out of it.  Maybe it’s possible, but I wouldn’t do it.

**Q: How do you get the big main plug to fit back in?**
A: You really need to push it in there as hard as you can. The same with deflating you need some strength to pull it out.

### ⭐ Poorly constructed, simply DOES NOT hold up over time

This is my 2nd time buying this couch & it disappoints EVERY TIME! I have limited space, so, I get these, hoping that this time might be the time that there's a happy ending. It starts out like a great love affair...you fill it...you sit on it & it feels great. But somewhere along the way to paradise, this thing simply implodes & that's unfortunate. I understand that you can't & shouldn't jump on this as though it's a trampoline, so, I don't. I also understand that you should never fill this to full capacity, so, I don't do that either. But no matter how gentle I treat this couch, it has a tendency to have some microscopic seam separation, which finds the lower section sinking to the floor, flatter than a pancake. If not that, there some tiny imperceptible seam separation, which'll drive you nuts, as you shine a flashlight on every inch of this couch, in attempt to find the leak. In which case I'd simply wish you luck. One would think that I'd learned my lesson via previous purchases of their Loveseat/Otterman combo & 2 purchases of this couch over the years. I bought this couch in December 2022 so that I'd have space for my Xmas Tree & Village setup. Needless-to-say, I ended up having to patch that sucker with Alien Tape Spray, because the "patch" which comes with this couch is about as useless are are breasts on a bull. The one that I purchased elsewhere to replace this one is lying listlessly in front of my window as I write this, once again, teasing me with its comfort, only to cruelly snatch it away about 3 months later. It never fails & my living room has a rug & none of us are overweight, as to tax this couch into submission. Intex truly needs to find a way to reinforce the seams of their products. Due to necessity, Intex has gotten far too much of my money over the years, only for the result to be disappointing & the usage, EXTREMELY short-lived everytime. I CANNOT recommend this couch to ANYONE when it always ends up being as disposable as an air spray, which you use for about 60 days, then toss because the can is empty. Let the buyer beware & truly, you get what you pay for. Which is why I can't complain because I had an idea of what I'd be getting. But #70 to $100 every few months is untenable. Intex...you've got me for the very last time. Purchase at your own risk.
