Review: Nice coffee for a good price - We recently bought a bean to cup machine as are missing our usual trip for a 'proper coffee' due to lockdown. We started 'safe' with brands we knew and now have been trying various different beans. These are great - nice and smooth, not too bitter and a lovely flavour. I made my Aunty whose a bit of a 'coffee connoisseur' a cup yesterday and she immediately said 'oooh, good coffee!' so I thought it was worthy of a review ☕😂 Review: Smooth taste and nice flavour - Nice coffee, would order again. Smooth taste and nice flavour ## Features - CLIMATE FRIENDLY: Enjoy a cup of our CARBON NEGATIVE Coffee. Our coffees are roasted in small batches, which ensures the roasting process is of a high quality. You as the consumer can choose to return used coffee grounds, which we reuse as biofuel. In addition, we also support climate initiatives and tree planting projects, where needed the most, that helps us achieve Carbon Negative. - SMALL BATCH ROASTED and FRESH PACK TECHNOLOGY: We only roast in small batches, frequently to ensure coffee is fresh. We use nitro flush, the process removes 100% of the oxygen in the bag, which can degrade the flavour of the roasted beans - our process gives coffee beans a longer shelf life - ECO FRIENDLY: you can choose to return the used coffee grounds to us so we can reuse them as bio fuel. The most sustainable roasting facility in the UK which you can be part of. - PASSION FOR COFFEE: Sharing the experience of unique tastes is our passion and we feel the privilege too our customers this amazing coffee. All coffees are ethically sourced a mixture of Fair Trade and Direct Trade to ensure farms have a decent living for a sustainable future. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B079DXH8RQ | | Best Sellers Rank | 11,419 in Grocery ( See Top 100 in Grocery ) 101 in Roasted Whole Coffee Beans | | Brand | ROAST SHOP COFFEE | | Brand Name | ROAST SHOP COFFEE | | Caffeine Content Description | Caffeinated | | Certificate Type | BIS | | Coffee Roast Level | Light Roast | | Coffee Type | Coffee Bean | | Container Type | Bag | | Customer Reviews | 4.0 out of 5 stars 75 Reviews | | Each Unit Count | 1.00 | | Flavor | COLOMBIA | | Flavour | COLOMBIA | | Item Form | Whole Bean | | Item Package Weight | 1.04 Kilograms | | Item Volume | 59.32 Litres | | Item form | Whole Bean | | Manufacturer | ROAST SHOP COFFEE | | Number of Items | 1 | | Package information | Bag | | Roast level | Light Roast | | Size | 1 kg (Pack of 1) | | Speciality | Single Origin | | Sweetness Description | Medium | | Unit Count | 1000.0 gram | ## Product Details - **Brand:** ROAST SHOP COFFEE - **Caffeine Content Description:** Caffeinated - **Certificate type:** BIS - **Flavour:** COLOMBIA - **Item form:** Whole Bean - **Number of items:** 1 - **Package information:** Bag - **Roast level:** Light Roast - **Speciality:** Single Origin - **Unit count:** 1000.0 gram ## Images ![ROAST SHOP COFFEE Colombian Coffee Beans 1kg, Single Origin, Light Roast - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71YfaTuZX9L.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Size, Flavor** options. ## Questions & Answers **Q: Seller please answer: does your coffee come with a 'roasted on' date stamped on the bag? It's the only meaningful metric of freshness.** A: Hi, you are quite right to query this and most of the beans on sale here only come with a "best before" date. There are several suppliers who sell Yirgacheffe beans on Amazon - as far as I have seen only one shows "roasted on" dates and I think it is also the best! The one you have illustrated is the right one - from the ROAST SHOP COFFEE store (1kg Ethiopian Yirgacheffe Freshly Roasted and Seasonally Sourced Coffee Beans, Light Roast 100% Arabica, Small Batch Hand Roasted in the UK). Enjoy. **Q: Is the Ethiopian a light or medium roast?** A: Light, all their coffees seem to be light, very good though. **Q: Are the beans you use 100% Arabeca?** A: I am pretty sure that the colombian beans that I make coffee with are from Arabica beans. I grew up on a coffee farm in Kenya and arabica were the beans we grew there -though that doesn't make me an expert **Q: When are these available again?** A: no idea I'm afraid. I'm not the coffee maker, just the buyer ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Nice coffee for a good price *by W***R on 9 April 2021* We recently bought a bean to cup machine as are missing our usual trip for a 'proper coffee' due to lockdown.
