Review: Product Misrepresentation Nightmare - 100% disappointed with this product based on the fact that it was advertised as ("NEW"-out of box). The product was in fact ("USED"-out of box). My expectation was to purchase a new product at a good price. There were many products (INR BloodTesting Kits) advertised as used at good prices. I had the option to purchase a used machine, if wanted. The proof that the BLOOD Testing Machine was used is, beginning April 2015 there were X4 testings of blood saved in the machine memory. Due to the product misrepresentation as new, the machine was handled without first being cleaned with a disinfecting product, such as alcohol, etc. With the fear of HIV and other blood transferring diseases this product could have proven "deadly". There is no drama intended, just a simple truth. To add insult to injury, when I immediately contacted desertcart and the Seller (GRAF 1404)....the Seller's verbatim response was:"I never said this was a new item. I stated it was new but no box. That means the item was in new condition no scratches cracks and is fully functional. the machine is in working order and the item is as described. nothing is brand new if it is opem....its either brand new never open or new but still used because its a open box or no box at all I will not be issuing a refund". WOW......A Play on Words, No apology No empathy, No professionalism, Not even a partial refund!!!! desertcart is an excellent service that I have used both personally and for business. I realize that this service does the best it can to keep their Sellers honest with representing their products. I will however have to be responsible in reporting this complaint to the Better Business Bureau (BBB), solely based on Seller performance. The 1 star provided was for receiving the product before the expected delivery date.

**Q: Hello is this for measure blood thinners? , and is all of the necessary tools to measure blood thinners**
A: Yes.  It measures the "INR", which stands for International Normalized Ratio", i.e., a statistical comparison of your blood clotting time.  An acceptable range is between 2.0 and 3.0.  If you are taking Coumadin or Warfarin, for example, it would help you adjust your dosage and/or type of food intake to keep it in that range.  When/if the dosage is too high (above 3) you need to decrease the dosage, or risk internal bleeding, etc.  To decrease the INR one can take vitamin K or eat vegetable which contains vitamin K (like broccoli, or spinach, or brussel sprout) to cut it down;  when it is too low one can increase the dosage of the Warfarin.  A patient who needs to monitor his/her INR, while taking Warfarin needs to report or go to a clinic to measure it each time a reading is needed.  The Coagucheck unit allows one to measure his/her INR at home instead of going to a clinic.  Analogous to a glucose meter for measuring blood glucose for diabetics, one needs to buy  test strips and lancets for the measurement.  Medicare covers such expenses.  Check with your physician.
