I haven't dropped video once yet, my distance has increased dramatically...out to 3400ft! I use the YUNEEC Q500 and this improvment has been superb. It works flawlessly and can easily recommend it to others. It needs to be said tho some modification, antennae, along with wires/cable will be needed to use this on a controller. If you already have upgraded, great replacement part! This will ultimately boost the signal output between from the controller. **Q: I have a dji phantom 4 pro, could i benefit from this? what about the 2.4 ghz model, or both?** A: I used (2) 2.4 GHz and (1) 5.8 GHz modules with an external battery to power them. Works great with my Phantom 3 Standard. Not sure about the Phantom 4 Pro. **Q: What happens to the 2.4ghz signal coming from my dual band 2.4ghz/5g nic/ap?** A: I use the 5.8 to boost the signal to my Dji Phantom 2 Vision +, and I use a 2.4 to boost the signal to the camera. **Q: Will this booster work with the Phantom 3 standard** A: Hi, Yes this will work for the P3 Standard for increased controller signal.
