A: I bought these pencils as a gift for a friend...I noticed his work when he was erasing...but I saw no smudge marks.

A: Hard to Soft Graphite Pencils(6H, 4H, 2H, HB, B, 2B, 3B, 4B, 5B, 6B, 8B, 10B) The higher the H numbers, the harder the graphite, and the lighter tone it will create. B pencils are softer and make darker, richer tones. Use a variety of tones in your drawing to create depth and dimension.
