I hang it on my living room window during the summer and it really emphasizes the whole summer-breezy look of the room. It allows the air to flow in without making you feel exposed if you leave the window open. Though I love it, I wont recommend it for the colder seasons, especially if you have wide windows. It is best used from late spring to early fall. A friend suggested hanging a thicker set of curtains behind it to make a double layer but I dont think that combination might work well.That aside, the initial look is great and for the price you cant complain. But a more detailed look shows the curtains are definitely not of high quality and it probably wont last for years. There are 3 windows apeice in each set of windows and it covered them nicely, and really makes the room look alot more homey. I put them over thin slatted blinds and it still leaves enough light in that I don't have to open the blinds or the curtains. The length is just right comes down to the old raidators the house is over (105 yrs old) and there are window seats also below.
