I would not use this particular calico for rag doll making. **Q: Can i use this calico to make shorts and a top** A: I used this as a greenhouse lining material. I think it would be too 'cheap' for external wear, although it could be machined into 'clothing' as an 'experiment' in learning how to make clothes.Not really the best material for finished external-wear clothing. It is like light-weight curtain-lining material. **Q: Would this be suitable for a wind breaker** A: No, you need a rip stop nylon or heavyweight canvas. It was not the same as the original lining material - which in fairness, was 40 years old, and could not be identified.
