I will say that I typically wear a size 10.5, but after reading the reviews I went up half a size and am happy I did. I replaced an older pair (exact same boot) and it was a size 10.5. I wore these boots in the desert and they are some of the most comfortable boots I wore while in the military as well as on civilian deployment. The ONLY reason I gave this a 4 as opposed to a 5 was the delivery method selected by the merchant that required me to be home to sign for them. I realize these boots are good, but a signature was a bit ridiculous. He was.looking forward to having some rugged boots to wear around the house, and outside for yardwork. These were definitely not them. I feel like we wasted our money! This is the 2nd pair of Belville boots he has owned. The first pair lasted at least 5 years. These, not even 6 months. In two or three days, they were a perfect fit. Now, a month later, they are still one of the most comfortable boots I've worn. These were advertised as waterproof, and so far, they still are.
