It is D-Tap compatible which means the inline power outlet will fit the majority of lights with an external power supply. Battery life is good, especially if lights are powered off between takes. I did a test tonight on my BMPCC4k camera, recording to my 1TB Samsung T5 SSD, on 1 full charge i was able to get nearly 5hrs 30mins of battery life while constantly recording 4K DCI 4096x2160 24fps Apple ProRes HQ. So I ended up recording onto the 1TB SSD twice with about 20mins left on the SSD for the 2nd record before the battery ran out of juice. FANTASTIC! It also comes with a D-Tap mains charger which is an absolute plus. It's amazing and just what i needed. FYI, the batt is actually 14.8V not 14.4V. Obviously, it is a battery so you do need to look after it. It's so good, i'll look to buy another one soon.
