The way I made them work was to leave the panel outside in full sun (doesn’t have to be sunny but in a spot where the sun normally hits) for a day and then at night went out and pressed the button on the back to switch them on, at the desired brightness setting. From then on they sense when it’s dark and only come on when it’s dark, they won’t come on when it’s daylight. **Q: I can’t get my lights to turn on, is there only one button on the back of the solar panel? Or am I being daft and missing something?** A: Push the button at the back several times .. there are three settings 1. On 2. Dim 3. off so keep pushing until you get the desired outcome **Q: Are the 4 lights strung together or can they be installed as single lights, ie dotted around the garden?** A: They are all connected via a cable approx 4 feet between each light **Q: Why so expensive? this same product is ~£10 cheaper with cpc** A: Your paying for a quality product. Lights last all night long.
