Compartments can be configured to support small or larger objects as needed with the velcro dividers and there are straps to tie this down to your boot luggage anchor points. One thing I would say is that this is quite a hefty size and not easy to carry about yourself loaded with items as the width of it makes it quite awkward to carry. You will need somewhere with ample space to store this if removing it to free up luggage space in the vehicle when needed - without dismantling it all back down into a flat pack.
