Can be difficult to modify band. *by D***T on July 13, 2018* This is a beautiful watch! The black and red sandalwood contrast each other nicely, with the chrome hardware and copper plating give it a subtle sense of class. First impressions very high! Did not realize the built in Chronograph before purchasing, and I really like the function. I have gotten several compliments within the first week or so of wearing it. Definitely a conversation starter!This being the third wooden watch I've bought, the first from Bewell, the rods holding the links in place did prove to be somewhat difficult to put back together, compared with the other two that I purchased; much easier to remove, though. There are two pieces, one smaller one attached to the whole rod, which holds each link to the next. The smaller piece only fits into the outer part of the link, but proves to be very difficult to reattach to the rod, once removed, with only the provided tool.My suggestion would be to use a carpenter's nail set that can fit into the outer hole along with the provided tool.I mention this because I have seen many complaints about the watch falling apart, and could easily see how this could happen quickly after modification to the band, if the two pieces were not correctly connected.Overall, nothing but great feelings towards this purchase, the craftsmen(women) did an excellent job with this piece! Being a carpenter myself, I almost view it as a piece of art. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I would give this 10 stars if I could ! *by E***E on July 27, 2019* This watch is amazing. It looks great and is very light weight! The customer service is wonderful. Amazon lost my package so I contacted the company directly and they sent me a free replacement watch even though it was not their fault the package was lost. They also made sure the watch would arrive in time for me to give the watch to my husband for our 5th wedding anniversary. The watch is so great I will be buying more for Christmas gifts. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Attractive watch, feels good against the skin, link pins are too tight *by D***D on November 23, 2018* Attractive watch, and the wooden band feels so much better against the skin than metal bands. However, I'm 6'2" 240lbs and throw iron around all day at work and I can't get the damn links apart. Actually broke a link when the removal tool snapped while trying to get it apart. Really disappointing.*Update*I sent a message to the seller about my issue rather than returning it through Amazon, and had a reply and remedy within minutes. Absolutely great customer service! I plan to give this 5 stars once the package arrives. The watch is nice for the price and the customer service is fantastic.*2nd Update*Got the replacement a few days ago. Looks great and the pins on this one were WAY easier to remove and reinstall. It's possible that the first one was difficult to remove due to user error. I don't think that I doubled the links back on each other the way the video shows on the first one, and that seems to have made all the difference in the world. Really suprised to find such an attractive watch for the price. Highly recommended.
