I have the men's 540 Platinum gloves and they've lasted over 3 years of steady use. The 520 model is made with the same quality stitching and padding. It may not have the wrap-around wrist support of the 540 Platinum, but I'm told that they work just fine for her (she's not going heavy). She finds the "fins" to be just as great as I do for taking the gloves off a sweaty hand. Be aware that there is a break-in period for the gloves as they will be stiff when you first get them. This can be bypassed by putting them through a wash cycle (they really don't bleed).
