However, I have had a severe reaction to the trace amounts of gluten that are actually in the product [less than 5ppm]. I believe the company has done its due diligence in testing for gluten before labeling and assuring their product is gluten free. Normal testing may not have even picked it up. Extended testing, and my hyper-sensitive body did -- and I was out of work for a week.So why the three stars? First if all, the allicin worked great. It wasn't for three day that the gluten accumulated enough to give me an attack. In the meantime, the allicin reduced my occasional angina to zero. If you are not allergic to gluten, I highly recommend this product.
